In response to our mission to design an immersive website for Ordinary Folk, a Canadian animation studio, we developed a comprehensive solution that captures the enchanting essence of their motion graphics. Our approach focused on integrating the studio's signature geometrical shapes, such as circles, into the core UI elements, creating an engaging and visually cohesive experience.
We elaborated on these shapes by incorporating them as animated decorations that move fluidly across the website, serving both as design elements and as containers for previewing video content. This dynamic design not only highlights the studio's artistic flair but also keeps users engaged as they navigate through the site.
The website layout was designed to be accessible and straightforward, ensuring a seamless user experience. We prioritized clarity and ease of navigation, allowing visitors to effortlessly explore the world of Ordinary Folk. By striking a balance between simplicity and visual appeal, we created a platform that showcases their work with clients like Webflow, Google, and TED Talks, while also challenging viewers to learn, think, and evoke heartwarming emotions.
